GeoLytics, 1970-2000, Census Tract
Data source:
GeoLytics
This datalayer contains 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000 Census data with details such as: population, household, housing characteristics, income, poverty status, education level, employment, housing costs, immigration, and other population characteristics. Census tracts have changed over time in many communities making neighborhood level comparisons over time near impossible. This unique dataset normalizes the data to 2000 Census tracts and provides information for policy makers, community organizations, and researchers who want to analyze changes that have occurred in US neighborhoods over four decades.
